PU declares different exam results
Lahore, Examinations Department University of the Punjab Lahore has declared the results of BSc (Hons) in Plant Pathology, Semester System, Session 2006-10, MSc (Hons) Plant Pathology, Semester System, Session 2008-10, Master of Science Education (M.S.Ed), Semester System, Session 2009-11 and different Diploma programs like diploma in Banking Laws, Taxation Laws, Environmental Laws and Intellectual Property Laws, Sessions 2008-09 and 2009-10. PU issue BA/BSc annual exam 2012 date sheet & diploma admission
Lahore, Examinations Department University of the Punjab Lahore has notified that BA/BSc Annual Examination 2012 will start from April 4, 2012. This exam will continue till May 2012. While the result will declare in August 2012. Candidates can check their detailed date sheet on the official website of the university later.
On the other side, University has issued the schedule for submission of admission forms for Diploma in Dietetics, Annual Exam 2011. Candidates can submit their admission form with single fee till 09-12-2011, while with the double fee form submission date is 12-12-2011. The exam of Diploma in Dietetics will start from 21-12-2011.

BISE Lahore former IT consultant arrested
Lahore, The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has arrested former IT consultant of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore, Majid Naeem on Saturday. The suspect has been arrested on charges of skimming Rs 2.8 million in the Punjab University. According to Director NAB Punjab Attiqur Rehman, Majid Naeem was arrested to recover the embezzled money.
Majid Naeem was adjourned from the Punjab University in 2002 on the charges of corruption. He was proved guilty in the Inter departmental inquiry of the university. He had been working as IT consultant of the BIES, Lahore. He was removed from his post in the BISE due to massive anomalies in results of the intermediate examination 2011 part I.
It is worth stating here that Majid Naeem was presented before the Judicial Commission headed by the judge of LHC Justice Chaudhary Shahid Saeed to probe into the matter of mistakes in intermediate examination part I, 2011 on Saturday. Please keep visiting http://resultspakistan.blogspot.com
BISE Lahore issued examination schedules for 2012
Lahore, Controller examination Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore, has issued the examination schedule for admission forms and examination commencement for Secondary School Certificates matric 9th, 10th and Intermediate part I, part II and aloom- e-sharqiya for the year 2012.
According to this issued announcement, last date of form submission for matric, for the class 9th and 10th with single fee is March 3, 2012 for regular candidates while private candidates can submit their forms with single fee till December 28, 2011. Also they can submit forms with double fee till January 17, 2012 and with triple fee forms can be submitted till February 2, 2012.
Intermediate part I and part II examination will start on May 5, 2012. Regular Candidates can submit their admission forms with single fee till February 27, 2012 and private candidates can submit their admission forms with single fee till February 20, 2012. It is expected that KPBTE Peshawar will publish D.A.E. 3rd year result 2011 on their official website in the second week of September. BISE online system fails yet again
Lahore, Oct 03: The Lahore Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education's online registration system failed yet again, causing problems for private colleges registering intermediate Part I students for the annual examination 2012 through the Lahore Board website.
The last date for online registration was extended till September 26, but the website link for registration was not working in the last few days. This failure left many regular students of private colleges unregistered.
A number of faults have already been exposed in the online system of Lahore Board since its inception in 2010. The system caused problems for students and the college administration every time registration began, roll number slips were issued and results announced. Recently, further problems were exposed when the result of matriculation was announced and more than 10,000 students were placed under the Result Late (RL) category. Besides the RL case, a number of students also received result cards full of errors.
Failure of registration mostly affected the administration of private colleges, who had been unable to register their students. Private college principals, students and their parents had complained and expressed concern over the failure.
Principal of a leading private college of Lahore said that more than 200 students of his college had been unable to get registered because they were unable to access the link leading to the registration page. He said that he had contacted board officials several times, but that the reply from them was unfriendly and unsatisfactory. He added that the online system also failed last year during the registration of intermediate and matric students.
He said, " It is very sad that authorities have no concern for the future of students and that no one is thinking about the failure of the online system. The Punjab government should revise its decision on using the faulty online system."
The mother of a student, Mrs Jamil, said that board officials should make arrangements to provide facilities to students rather than create panic amongst them every time. She also appealed to the higher courts to take notice of the board's negligence.
Lahore Board Spokesperson Qaiser Virk said that the board would accept a hard copy of the documents of those students who were unable to get registered online. Lahore, Oct 02: A spokesman for the Punjab University (PU) on Friday claimed that the university s Examinations Department had dispatched the roll number slips to all candidates of BA/BSc Supplementary Examination 2011, starting from October 5, 2011. In a press statement, the spokesman said, however, if any candidate had not yet got his/her roll number slip, he/she might contact BA/BSc Section of PU Examinations Department, New Campus, for duplicate slip.
